I lived close to Clear Lake, Minnesota as a child but I consider a nearby small town, called Palmer, my home town. My parents owned/operated the only bar and restaurant there and I grew up meeting and observing a variety of interesting people. I always wanted to marry someone a little on the unpredictable side and achieved that goal when I married the love of my life, Richard Lovitz, in 1982. We lived in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota for 33 years and then moved to Lake George, Minnesota where we currently reside.I love to write, but also enjoy snow shoeing, ice fishing, gardening and have been known to dabble in a little wine making. My husband and I have a daughter, Katie, who lives in southern Minnesota with her husband Brad. We are proud that she has chosen a career path dedicated to helping those around her. Our son Kevin, who made a positive impact on everyone around him, passed away in 2008 from Muscular Dystrophy.
I’m a member of Romance Writers of America. I’ve had articles printed in the St. Cloud Times and poetry printed in the St. Cloud Unabridged newspapers. I have also won several contests for slogan creations. My first book: SOWING NORTHERN FIELDS is finished and I'm working on the sequel HARVESTING A DREAM. It has always been a dream of mine to write romance novels and I’m finally making that dream a reality.
